Well actually Eli has been walking for about three weeks now. He is such a stud. He is almost past the gorilla arms that give him balance. It is amazing how fast they learn to run once they've learned to walk.
This last week my youngest brother, Brandon, got his mission call to Washington, D.C. I was hoping for Europe but the President's Home is a pretty cool place, too. He is real excited. A good friend of his, M & M, will be nearby in Richmond, Virginia.
An interesting note about his call is that he received it exactly one decade to the week from when I received my call. It is exciting to get to support him out there in the Lord's Vineyard. Tonight we had the local Elders over for dinner. They are from Serbia and the Czech Republic. I won't try to type up there names. Both of them are converts and the only ones so far in there families.
They left us with the lesson that "We don't choose the Lord, but he chooses us." We must always be grateful for the gospel knowledge that we have. I guess that is why we are encouraged to read the Book of Mormon daily. The entire book revolves around the "pride cycle" that comes from those who take the blessings of God for granted.

Congrats to your new missionary! And congrats to a now running around your house child! :o) Did you hear that Brittany had her baby? They named him Evan. They will be home on Thursday.
Hey Jason,
thanks for the comments on our blog. It's always nice to see that some has been reading it. Brittany and Evan made it home a day early today. They are both doing great. Thanks for your friendship.
